Marenco Beach & Rainforest Lodge is a
Costa Rica Hotel with a privately-owned nature reserve and lodge located in
what is probably Costa Rica's greatest natural endowment, the rain forest
and scenic coastal regions and beaches of the Osa Peninsula. Marenco's
breathtaking, exotic coastal location provides unlimited opportunities for
adventure, family recreation, nature study, research and yes..even some rest and
relaxation, in one of the world's classic wilderness areas.
Standard rooms type : were refurbished on the bathroom area and
this make them bigger than the type B. It is a building with 4 rooms,
all connected by the terrace. They come with 2 single beds, terrace,
private bathroom, fan and electricity during the night. We could get a
double bed for you. They also have the gorgeous view to the gardens
and the ocean on the back.
The main difference between the two types (besides the size) is the
finishing touches on the details of their construction. Type A have
been refurbished and type B still have their original construction.
Type A have nicer bathrooms. The type "B" are recommended
for solo visitors that are interested in saving money on
accommodations that are not so expensive because of their rough
finish.
Bungalows : Larger units are separate from each other with
more privacy. They are equipped with one queen and one or two single
beds, private terrace, private bathroom, fan, electricity during the
night, ocean or rain forest view. About this...you need to
understand that we cannot guarantee that your bungalow will have an
ocean view. This is due to the fact that we are a biological reserve
and we wouldnt be giving much of an example if we cut down the old
and big threes so our rooms can have amazing views. Those giants
deserve their place, even if it is right in front of our bungalows.
What we can guarantee you is the fact that you'll wake up to the sound
of the scarlet macaws and the howler monkeys, and an amazing variety
of birds who love hanging around these very same trees.

Bungalows
have a cost of US$ 78 a night (taxes included) for double occupancy. US$ 13
extra will be charged for each additional person (maximum 2 people per
bungalow). Marenco also has rooms available for US$ 68 and US$ 53 per night
in single or double occupancy.
