Corcovado Jungle Eco Lodge is nestled in the heart of the virgin rain forest it is an adventure just getting to this jungle retreat! Located just 4 kilometres inland from the central Drake Bay beach.  We provide complimentary shuttle service from our lodge to the beach during your stay with us.   This jungle eco lodge gives you an opportunity to experience first hand the magic of this magnificent reserve which connects to Corcovado National Park border, creating a biological corridor for native habitat.  Our private 100 acre reserve is home to many endangered species and staying with us helps to keep this reserve intact.

 Located in the agrarian village settlement of Los Planes and surrounded by vast expanses of rain forest reserves you'll have the opportunity to hike private trails to refreshing waterfalls and rivers or a hammock in our botanical gardens where we have carefully selected a variety of flowers, fruits, medicinal plants and nuts to tempt the appetites of our jungle friends.

 Majestic scarlet macaws, toucans, parrots, hummingbirds, motmots, trogans, morpho butterflies, mischievous white face monkeys and howler monkeys are among our frequent visiting diners. Then by the light of the moon and the enchanting sounds and aromas of the jungle maybe you can catch a glimpse of some of the local wildlife from your deck. The surrounding wildlife refuge is home to many endangered species including the jaguar, black panther, puma, ocelot, jagarundi, tapir, golden frog, harpy eagle and has the world's largest population of scarlet macaw.

Corcovado Jungle Eco Lodge has 4 Private Ranchos nestled into the jungle ravine lot in our private 100 acre forestry reserve. The Private Ranchos have private bath with hot water, mini bar, refrigerator, coffee maker, fans, radio alarm clock, mosquito nets and 24 hour electricity as well as private decks.
 The main lodge houses 4 Standard Cabinas with double beds, private bath, fans, radio alarm clock, coffee makers and private terraces. 

As well there is a Deluxe Cabina sleeping up to 4 people with a double bed and a set of bunk beds, ample closet space, desk, fans, radio alarm clock, large private tiled bath with hot water shower & large tub surround, coffee maker, mini bar, refrigerator. 

Also in the main lodge is the popular third floor Tree House Cabina which sleeps up to four with two separate sleeping quarters, one with a double bed and one with two single beds as well as a common lounge area and a private deck with spectacular view of the botanical gardens and private reserve and ocean view. 

All accommodations have 24 hour electricity, fresh towels and linens and are cleaned daily.   
Our in house Rainforest Spa Services combines local orchids and other aromatic ingredients and medicinal plants to offer a variety of relaxing alternatives to refresh you during your stay with us. 
The Terrace Buffet And Grill specializes in traditional dishes prepared with the organic fruits, vegetables, and herbs in season and local catch. Come and experience the enchanting sights, sounds and smells of this magical rain forest reserve in our friendly jungle eco lodge.

NOTE:  Unless you like lots of mud, we don't recommend staying at Corcovado Jungle Lodge during the months of September and October.
